Premiere Youth Theatre was founded by Andrew and Lisa Renée Johnson who have a combined total over50 years of professional performing and teaching experience. The husband and wife team met rehearsing for Crystal Cruise Lines in Los Angeles where Andrew was Deputy Cruise Director, Dance Captain and vocal soloist as Lisa Renée was vocal soloist, adagio and featured dancer. The two synergized their passion for the performing arts in 2014 bringing life to Premiere Youth Theatre.

What is PYT?

Premiere Youth Theatre is a performing arts school and production company for students Pre-K to 12 grades.

What do we offer?

PYT's curriculum consists of a one-of-a-kind daily after school musical theatre enrichment: C.A.S.T. (Children’s After School Theatre), a diverse range of technique classes in a variety of musical theatre disciplines, private lessons, themed summer camps, specialized skill development workshops, audition preparedness courses and performance opportunities throughout the school year and summer seasons.

Our Mission

To provide strong performing arts education in drama, music and dance for our students to discover their own performing arts capabilities while building valuable skills that extend to all facets of life; enhancing our students as people and as artists.

Our Vision

To enrich and inspire children and youth to cultivate their creativity, positive self-expression and unique talents through formal performing arts education, building their confidence and self-esteem. To provide an outstanding educational environment to learn the fundamental values of encouragement, teamwork, and effective communication while taking part in performing art experiences to treasure.

What sets us apart?

Premiere Youth Theatre is distinctive by way of providing three unique programs for children and youth: C.A.S.T., educational classes, and production shows. We provide opportunities for the young performing arts explorer, student, and performer. Our goal through offering this diverse programming is to build awareness of the benefits of the arts in the development of a child and to create a well-rounded musical theatre performer prepared to share their gift in the performing arts community.
