- Click “register” next to the show title on the Joinpyt.com website to complete the necessary registration forms.
Necessary Preparation For Auditions
- Contact if requesting private monologue and song coaching prior to auditions. Availability is limited.
- Please come prepared with a memorized one minute monologue.
- Please come prepared with 16 bars of a musical theater song.

At Auditions
- Please sign-in with student’s name, parent and phone number available during auditions. You will be given a number to wear at sign-in.
- Complete the audition form. Please include any known conflicts. This may affect the role the student is offered, pending the amount of known absences during rehearsals.
- Call-back information will be given, if applicable.
Make sure you look carefully at the rehearsal and performance schedule (below). If you are not available for all show dates, please do not ask to be considered for it.
Annie Audition Information
Synopsis
Based on the popular comic strip and adapted from the Tony Award-winning Best Musical, with a beloved book and score by Tony Award-winners, Thomas Meehan, Charles Strouse and Martin Charnin, Annie features everyone’s favorite little redhead in her very first adventure.
With equal measures of pluck and positivity, little orphan Annie charms everyone's hearts despite a next-to-nothing start in 1930s New York City. Annie is determined to find the parents who abandoned her years ago on the doorstep of an orphanage run by the cruel Miss Hannigan. Annie eventually foils Miss Hannigan's evil machinations, finding a new home and family in billionaire, Oliver Warbucks, his personal secretary, Grace Farrell, and a lovable mutt named Sandy.

Character Breakdown
Orphans
The Orphans are gritty girls that are neglected and vulnerable, yet basically honest and lovable. The girls have "mischievous" fun together, as well as "sibling style" fights. Each actress should be able to shape her own specific character, be a good singer and visually expressive.

What To Bring To Rehearsals
Those registering for the show will need to bring marked water bottle, packed lunch and healthy snack for each day of rehearsals. The Cast will be given a folder, script and rehearsal CD. Students should bring their folder and script daily to rehearsals.
Dress Attire
We ask that the children dress comfortably in ready to move attire. For the ease and safety of movement please no jeans, skirts (unless with shorts underneath), sandals, crocs, flip flops, dangly earrings, expensive jewelry, heels, bulky watches, etc. and no gum is permitted in the building. Please have your child come to rehearsals in sneakers, if they have dance shoes (i.e. jazz slip-on shoes or ballet slippers, they are welcomed to wear them for the movement portion). If you would like to invest in dance shoes, you can find inexpensive dance shoes at Payless Shoes.
